How many beautiful glances were needed for some people to grow up, for some man not to become an alcoholic, for someone not to commit suicide.
Often, just a smile, an outstretched hand, a greeting in passing is enough, just once to restrain an insult and accept a person, forgive them, offer a piece of bread, a cup of conversation, and someone’s life can change a hundredfold.
Just because there was none of that, because it was lacking, the world is so miserable.
